Merry Christmas to Aurica and Vlad!

With help from friends and family we were able to give a nice Christmas to Aurica and Vladimer. They have 8 children, 6 still young and at home. They have had some pretty tough times this year. Thanks to Lidea, our NGO and water contractor, we were able to get running water to their home and donated a washing machine to them. They were having to carry over 100 buckets of water from the well to the house on laundry day to do laundry for 8 people! The kids were a little bucket brigade!

Elder Jentzsch's family donated some money, one of contractors, Alexander donated some money, Lilia from the branch donated a large blanket, Elena came from America just to give coats to orphans and Aurica's children, and we chipped in some brownies and chocolate chip cookies and some kitchen pots and silverware they needed. We spent Elder Jentzsch's family donation money on the toys and Alexanders money on the boots. They had never seen so many gifts at one time. Lidea said they would remember this day for the rest of their lives and I believe she is right. Thanks to the generosity of so many this little family was very blessed. THANK YOU!!
