We met Max at a baptism in May. He came with members of Orhei Branch by maxi taxi. He is 16 years old and wants to become a doctor. His parents finally agreed to let Max get baptised. He was so excited he could hardly sleep for the 4 days to his baptism. He is awesome and will grow so much with the gospel. We're excited for him. His friends from the Orhei Branch were to celebrate too. We told him we would make refreshments and he asked for brownies so we made two big pans of it just for him. Also made a baptism towel for him with his name and baptism date embroidered on it.
We have been called to serve in the Romania Bucharest Mission for 23 months. Our primary assignment will be to labor with Humanitarian/Welfare Services as the Country Directors. We will be working in Moldova, a small country next to Romania. We are to report to the Missionary Training Center at Provo, Utah on Monday April 26,2010. We will fly to Chisinau (kee-she-now),the capitol of Moldova, on May 7, 2010. Jesus Christ taught us to love one another. We will try to be excellent disciples of Christ as we love and serve the people of Moldova. We are VERY excited about our assignment, and ready for the adventure of our lives!
