Spent our waiting time studying Russian with our new Friends; Elder and Sister Hazelwood, who are going to St Petersburg Russia to do humanitarian work also. He is an oil man from New Mexico. Tom was busy letting family know we are ok and safely tucked away at the Mission Training Center in Provo Utah. We are trying to be patiant but not doing well with the waiting. We are sooo eager to get to Moldova we can hardly stand the waiting.
Looks like you guys are ready to go! Hopefully you'll be on yoru way before to long. It's been fun seeing where you are in the process - Hope you're both well! ~ Christine Anderson
We have been called to serve in the Romania Bucharest Mission for 23 months. Our primary assignment will be to labor with Humanitarian/Welfare Services as the Country Directors. We will be working in Moldova, a small country next to Romania. We are to report to the Missionary Training Center at Provo, Utah on Monday April 26,2010. We will fly to Chisinau (kee-she-now),the capitol of Moldova, on May 7, 2010. Jesus Christ taught us to love one another. We will try to be excellent disciples of Christ as we love and serve the people of Moldova. We are VERY excited about our assignment, and ready for the adventure of our lives!
